The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and there are even board games and books for entertainment. The cottage at Neidpath Castle was absolutely charming! It had a warm and cozy feel that made us feel right at home. The two bathrooms with a bath and a shower were a big plus, especially after a long day of trekking. I loved having the option to relax in a hot bath or quickly freshen up in the shower. It was just what we needed!
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the décor in the cottage. But hey, that's just my taste.

This place was seriously amazing! The property itself was so comfortable and beautifully decorated, it was like a dream. And it was spotless! They even had a great selection of books and board games to keep us entertained. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and they even provided tea and coffee! The space was so big, it could easily accommodate two couples or a large family. We felt guilty for having so much space just for the two of us. And let's not forget about the laundry room with the washer, dryer, and ironing board - such a convenient bonus! The location was perfect, just outside of town with plenty of walking, biking, and short driving routes to explore. our stay was absolutely fantastic!

The cottage was cozy and charming, giving off a warm and homey vibe. The two bathrooms were a pleasant surprise, allowing everyone to start the day at their own pace. I loved having the option of either a relaxing bath or a quick shower, it made our stay even more comfortable.
Personally, I found the furniture a bit outdated, but I understand that some guests might appreciate the traditional style.

We had an amazing stay at the charming cottage near Peebles. From the moment we arrived, we found the key exactly where we were told it would be, making check-in easy. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, providing a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. We were kinda surprised to find a plentiful supply of firewood for the fireplace, which added to the cozy ambiance of the cottage. The well-stocked kitchen had everything we needed, including pots, pans, and even mixing bowls. We also appreciated the provision of tea and coffee. The cottage was spacious, with plenty of room for a large family or two couples. We felt spoiled with all the space available. the laundry/utility room with its washing machine, separate dryer, iron/ironing board, and clothes airer was a convenient feature.
On the downside, we found it a bit challenging to turn right onto the main road from the hotel due to a blind corner. The hotel signage was also partially blocked by greenery, making it less visible from a certain direction.
